MOSCOW, March 3, 2003 – SUN Interbrew is glad to announce that it started to produce premium varieties of its national brands Sibirskaya Korona and Klinskoye in new bottles.

At SUN Interbrew’s two breweries, the Klinsky Brewery and the Perm Brewing Company, several varieties of the premium brand Sibirskaya Korona (Klassicheskoye, Prazdnichnoye, Krepkoye Lux), as well as premium varieties of Klinskoye, i.e. Extra and Redkoye, will be bottled in special 0.5l and 0.33l glass bottles. Until now, these brands were packaged in cans and 0.5l glass euro bottle.

The new bottles are produced by a Russian company.

The transfer to new packaging will be supported by TV and outdoor advertising.

Besides the Klin Brewery and the Perm Brewing Company, SUN Interbrew breweries in Omsk, Volzhsky and Saransk also take part in the project.

SUN Interbrew specialists are confident that this measure will significantly strengthen the position of Sibirskaya Korona and Klinskoye: the exclusive design of the new packaging will stress out the brands’ premium character, and the dark bottle will ensure beer’s excellent quality.
