In January, State enterprise Mosgorteplo owed about 240 mln rubles to AO MOSENERGO. Mosgorteplo also owes an additional 150 mln rubles for earlier periods but refuses to recognize this debt. In addition, in February AO MOSENERGO supplied Mosgorteplo heat worth 1,625 mln rubles. So far the company has not started to pay for this.

AO MOSENERGO, calling for settlement, has repeatedly tried to initiate talks with the Mosgorteplo management. However this has not helped, as Mosgorteplo does not regularly or fully pay for the supplied heat. The situation has worsened since Mosgorteplo implemented the new system for customer settlements (EIRTs – Joint Information and Settlement System).

In the new situation AO MOSENERGO has to restrict heat supply to the debtor under the power supply agreement that was signed by the two companies. In late February, AO MOSENERGO restricted heat supply to the Mosgorteplo head office. The company intends to apply these measures until the customer starts to fulfill its obligations.
