According to Leonid Gavrilov, HR director, the objective of the conference is to define a strategy for developing such cities, which are deriving most of the taxes from steel mills. This will aid socio-economic development of these cities and successful performance of the budget building companies.

The conference will be held to make specific suggestions on socio-economic development of these cities. In the course of the conference the participants will discuss legal aspects of local governments as delineated in the Laws of the Russian Federation and will touch upon professional nature of such management and service.

One of the main tasks of the conference is to create an Association of cities with budget building steel mills. The two-day conference was arranged by Urals Academy of Federal Management, Magnitogorsk Administration, City Duma as well as Magnitogorsk steel mill.

State Duma members, top managers and line staff of municipal management bodies of Lipetsk, Cherepovets, Nizhni Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Chelyabinsk, Stary Oskol, Novotroisk, managers and line personnel of ferrous steel mills, scientists and university professors will take part in the conference.
