The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Nikolai Azarov, Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The parties discussed the implementation of long-term contracts for gas supply and transit, as well as the prospects for cooperation deepening in the gas sector.
Special emphasis was placed on the need to replenish Ukraine’s UGS facilities with enough gas to secure reliable Russian gas transit to Europe and to provide gas supply to Ukrainian consumers during the 2010–2011 autumn/wither period.
Alexey Miller and Nikolai Azarov stressed the importance of developing cooperation between the parties in a constructive way.
