In the near future, Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc will offer the market a novel grade of refrigerating fluid. Its composition will exclude an environmentally unfriendly component.

The R&D Ethylene Oxide Laboratory of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc is developing a new composition for the refrigerating fluid anticorrosive additive. The major objective of the laboratory personnel is to strive for making environmentally friendly products.

Till now, the composition of the NKNK grade refrigerating fluid popular amongst the Russian consumers included sodium nitrate being environmentally unfriendly and for that reason recently banned. A phosphate base for the novel refrigerating fluid, according to R&D experts, will solve that problem. Moreover, the developed technology will enable to reduce the cost of each ton of the novel refrigerating fluid by RUR 500-600.
