Pursuant to a Gazprom order Bogdan Budzulyak has been relieved of the post of the Head of the Company’s Gas Transportation, Underground Storage and Utilization Department due to his retirement.

The Management Committee Chairman Alexey Miller gave his high appreciation to the long-standing activity of Bogdan Budzulyak: “Bogdan Vladimirovich belongs to the “gold fund” top management both within the national and the global gas industries. He made a great contribution into developing Gazprom and creating the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia. A diversity of strategic projects were implemented under his leadership. Among the most significant ones we can mention the unique Blue Stream gas pipeline, which provided new opportunities for the global gas transportation infrastructure development. I am confident that his compleat professionalism and commitment will further serve as an example for each and every manager and expert of our industry.

By Gazprom’s order Oleg Aksyutin has been named as Head of the Department of Gas Transportation, Underground Storage and Utilization.

Oleg Aksyutin was born in 1967 in Kuibyshev. In 1990 he graduated with honors from the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute named after Academician S.P. Korolyov, majoring in Aircraft and Engines Operation and qualified as a Mechanical Engineer.

Oleg Aksyutin has a PhD degree in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. He is a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Technological Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

His career started at the Stavropol Gas Production Unit, Kavkaztransgaz Production Association. He took the positions of compressor operator, gas facilities operation engineer, deputy head of a booster compressor station #2 and Head of the Rozhdestvenskaya Gas Compressor Service.

In May 1998 Mr. Aksyutin was appointed the Head of the Stavropol Gas Production Unit.

From October 2002 to June 2007 – Chief Engineer, First Deputy Director General, Kavkaztransgaz.

Since June 2007 – Director General, Gazprom dobycha Nadym.
