On 9th April 2003 representatives from Deutsche Bank AG presented Sberbank with the STP Excellence Award for USD payments, for the best results in straight-through processing of USD payments in 2002. This award comes as another recognition of Sberbank's achievements in clearing operations.
Earlier, Sberbank earned an award from the Bank of New York for Outstanding Payments Straight-Through Rate and high use of Direct Customer Inquiry for the year 2001, in terms of the total number of clearing operations in US dollars and as the best correspondent bank.
To mark Sberbank's performance in 2001, another bank from the US, JPMorgan Chase Bank, conferred its Quality Recognition Award on Sberbank as one of the best correspondent banks by quality of USD payments routed via Sberbank's correspondent account with JPMorgan Chase Bank, USA.
