The Board of Directors of Moscow United Electric Grid Company has approved the draft investment program of JSC “MOESK”. According to the approved budget, in 2010 the Company will implement the investment program with the volume of RUR 22 111 393 thousand, of which RUR 3 325 182 thousand will be invested by the Company’s branch Central Electric Grids.
According to Deputy Director General for Capital Construction, Central Electric Grids, Pavel Veretennikov: “In 2010, the total volume of capital investments of Central Electric Grids will amount to RUR 3 billion 325 million 182 thousand. It is by RUR 946,6 million more than the investment volume realized by our branch last year of 2009.
Under the approved investment program about RUR 411 million have been assigned for reconstruction of 110 kilovolt (kV) “Timiryazevskaya” overhead line (OL). In 2010 it is planned to complete the reconstruction works at substation “Yelokhovskaya”. 110/10 kV substation “Avtozavodskaya”, 220/110/10 kV substation “Chertanovo” and 220/10/6 kV substation “Butyrki” will preserve priority for their construction and reconstruction.
The investment program implementation will allow to increase considerably the power supply reliability and offer an opportunity to provide new consumers with technical connection to electric grids in the capital.
