Yesterday, delegation of manufacturers and businessmen of Kazakhstan, headed by Adylbek Jaksybekov, Minister of Industry and Trade, visited KAMAZ Inc.
Among members of the delegation there were managers of companies, participants of Kazakhstan-KAMAZ Consortium, financiers and officials. Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc., and Khafiz Salikhov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Tatarstan, welcomed the delegation.
The guests from Kazakhstan toured the main assembly line, bus production, and show room of R&D. There was hold a business meeting with top-managers of KAMAZ Inc. and its designers. Later Adylbek Jasybekov and Sergey Kogoghin signed a protocol on cooperation development. The protocol provides for improved cooperation between KAMAZ Inc. and Kazakhstan companies and launching new CKD assembly plants in Kazakhstan.
Adylbek Jasybekov said, “KAMAZ Inc. may become the basis for development of Kazakhstan’s own vehicle production industry. There is a real economical boom in Kazakhstan now and we have adopted the Program of strategic development of industry and innovations. This program also provides for cooperation with transnational companies. Thus, for KAMAZ we can launch some new productions. Another issue for further negotiations is development of bus and tractor production, and perspectives of assembly, marketing and servicing of KAMAZ trucks”.
Sergey Kogoghin underlined that, “ …among the markets outside of Russia Kazakhstan becomes a number one market for KAMAZ Inc. We hope for close cooperation in production and marketing, and development of partnership relations with Kazakhstan enterprises.”
