OJSC North-West Telecom informs that on March 25, 2011 it applied to the registrar to make an entry in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities about the termination of the North-West Telecom business due to its merger by OJSC Rostelecom.

In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Financial Markets Service of the Russian Federation, such information was published in the newsline in the form of news that may have a material effect on the company securities’ price.

According to the stock exchange rules, trading in North-West Telecom’s securities shall be suspended from March 28, 2011 till the date of reorganization.

The date of completion of the said merger and stock conversion will be understood as the date of the entry in the USRLE about the termination of the North-West Telecom business, which may be expected about April 1, 2011.
