Brigades of powermen went to the problem part in the district of Stachek and Krasnyh Komandirov streets much earlier than the repairing campaign started. The peculiarity of the heat run in this district is in the fact that, as specialists declare, the conduit here is subjected to influence of “aggressive environment”. In connection with frequent underflooding break dynamics in the specified zone grew and it decreased reliability of heat supply of consumers. Normative operative term of conduits, 25 years, expired, that’s why they considered inexpedient to patch up the worn out pipes. 170 metres of old pipes were completely changed to new ones.

Organizational stage preceded the replacement, it was necessary to receive approval of corresponding services of the city administration and work with heat supply charts so that not to allow heat energy limitation to consumers. During a week powermen carried out all preparartory works: opened the heat run, demounted the part of supply conduit, prepared docking devices and started laying of new pipes. For successful carrying out of works they enabled two brigades of repairmen, necessary special technique. They did not limit heat supply of consumers and hot water supply. Powermen were working for almost a month, but now reliability of heat supply of Elmash citizens will considerably grow. An essential advantage is in the fact that instead of old flaps in the new section they put Finnish flaps, produced by “Hekwors” company. Repairmen gave an authoritative conclusion: new flaps are less expensive than domestic ones, but they exceed them in quality.

Works will be finished tonight, at 8 o’clock in the evening it will be possible to start work of the heat run section: hot water will run to the consumer by new pipes.
