Rostelecom, Russia’s national long-distance telecommunications operator, has been certified that the Company’s international leased line service complies with all nesessary requirements of “Telecommunications-Quality” voluntary certification system.
It is the second certificate given to the Company within the indicated system. The certification tests took place in the very end of 2005 and Rostelecom’s adherence to high-quality standards was recognized by independent experts. At the moment the Company is preparing to certify one more service offered to its customers.

“Telecommunications-Quality” voluntary certification system was created in 2002 under the auspice of Russian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications to make certification of telecommunications services, facilities and carriers’ quality management systems. In 2005 it was re-registered. As of now, the system’s organizers include Russian Association of Networks and Services, Association of GSM Operators, 3G Association, Association of the manufacturers of telecommunications equipment.
