Based
on the results of the publication of the audited consolidated
financial statements for 2022 under IFRS, Rosseti Centre (ticker –
MRKC) – managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region
(ticker – MRKP) held a conference call to webcast a presentation
dedicated to the performance results of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti
Centre and Volga region for the past year. The event was opened by
Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance Artem Aleshin. The
main topics for discussion were the financial and production
indicators of the Companies and the results of the conducted tariff
campaign for 2023, the consequences of the latest legislative changes
in the electric grid sector, as well as current guidance for key
performance indicators for 2023. Despite
the challenges of the past year, all obligations to ensure reliable
and high-quality power supply to consumers in 20 regions of Russia
were fulfilled. The Companies have minimized their dependence on
foreign supplies and, as a result, supported the development of
domestic production. This approach allowed to increase production
potential and improve operational efficiency. In
the context of maintaining the volume of services from the
electricity transmission at the level of 2021, the Companies
increased the volume of services provided for grid connection and
significantly increased revenue from additional services. This led to
a positive trend in consolidated indicators for revenue, EBITDA and
profit for the period at the end of 2022. Much attention was paid to
approving long-term tariffs and changing the structure of the
required gross revenue of the Companies. As
part of the event, the main parameters of the approved Business Plan
for 2023 were also presented. At the end of the presentation, during
the Q&A session, topics such as optimization of the Companies’
investment programs, payment discipline in the regions of presence,
and controllable cost management were discussed. The
presentation of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region is
