On May 5, 2003 the meeting of veterans of the World War II - former and actual employees of LOMO PLC - was held at the enterprise.

            Such meetings are the good tradition for the St. Petersburg optical firm, because at different years a lot of people, having defended our Motherland at fronts during the Great Native War, have worked here.

            More than 100 people took part at this meeting. Laying flowers to the memorial boards, located at the territory of the firm, visiting of the Museum of LOMO history, which prepared to the celebration a special exposition, solemn session and concert were included to the program of the event.  At the entrance everybody from the participants got the bucket of flowers as a present. Veterans were very glad of the meeting - for the majority of them it is a single opportunity to see their friends. That's why the event has passed in a really warm and sincere atmosphere.

   Care about veterans is a debt for everybody from us. Employees of LOMO PLC understand it and try to make everything to fulfil this debt with honor.
