“Novoye Rakhino” substation not only allows supporting the industrial capacities of “Belgrancorm” factory, but also provides the reserve of power supply.

Solemn putting into operation of new substation of 110/10 kV of “Novgorodenergo branch” of IDGC of North-West took place today in non-commercial partnership Novoye Rakhino (Krestetsk district of the Novgorod region). The modern power object of RUR 250 million value was constructed for only 3 months.

Alexey Kukhmay, Head of IDGC of North-West, named the construction of “Novoye Rakhino” substation the unique experience of the power company. “It was possible to put into operation on a tight schedule the power object of such a technical level only effectively uniting the energies of all parties interested in it”, he says.

Alexander Kukhmay thanked all the persons who were involved in the construction and putting into operation of the power object. “I’m pleased to note that the Novgorod region today is the only region in the north-west, where despite the difficult times the people continue building process and increase the industrial capacities”, noted the General Director of IDGC of North-West.

On behalf of the Governor of the Novgorod region, Vladimir Alfimov presented the letter of appreciation to Alexander Kukhmay. Vladimir Chistyakov, “Novgorodenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West Director received the gratitude.

“Novoye Rakhino” substation will not only allow providing the industrial capacities of “Belgrancorm”, but also the reserves of power supply which can be used for the creation of other industries. By 1150 anniversary of Velikiy Novgorod which is going to be celebrated in September of the current year, “Novgorodenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West will put into operation one high voltage substation in the regional centre. Its name is Yuzhnaya. It is the great present to the anniversary of our old city”, says Vladimir Alfimov.

Substation “Novoye Rakhino” of 110/10 kV was constructed with the help of the modern, highly reliable equipment with maximum automation and increased service safety.
