In 2004 OJSC FETEC plans to install 500 universal coin telephones of Vector Federal state unitary enterprise in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky providing automatic long distance, international and local communication with autonomous tariffing and direct call payment by means of telephone electronic card (ETC).

At present 41 universal coin telephones of TMC-1517K4 installed in 2003 operate in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In the current year they will be improved to use unified coin telephone cards.

Information exchange and subscriber line coin telephone operation management will be provided for by technical control center i.e. coin telephones TSUT-01 already supplied to the regional center.

SAM module (Security Access Module) providing for false card usage protection as well as emergency message transmission to the technical control center-01.

All coin telephone-related ATX will be supplied with line protection units provided with electronic protection of parallel set unauthorized connection.

240 similar coin telephones will be installed in the first quarter of the current year. Unified coin telephone cards (ETC) will be available in all telecommunication departments and international call offices.
