Moscow, 17 February 2004. Today, the Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan headed by Zhantoro Satybaldiev, Special Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan for Electricity and Energy Security and Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyzstan's Government.

At the meeting, it was agreed that RAO "UES of Russia" will send its specialists to render technical and organizational assistance to Kyrgyzstan's power industry with respect to ensuring full collection of electricity payments from consumers and developing plans for reforming the Republic's energy sector.
