Moscow, 3 August 2007 - The INTER RAO UES Group has completed the consolidated financial statements for 2006 in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Like the year before, the Group's auditor of financial statements is JSC PriceWaterHouseCoopers Audit.

At year-end 2006, the INTER RAO UES Group's revenues rose by 290.7 mln euros* to reach 1 bln 82.6 mln euros. As of 31st December, the pre-tax profit amounted to 111.5 mln euros - 16.5 mln euros more than the figure for the previous reporting period.

The value of the Group's total assets as of 31st December 2006 grew by 57.8 mln euros and reached 746.35 mln euros. The non-current assets were worth 496.6 mln euros (up 60.9 mln euros on the 2005 figure). The value of current assets was down 3.1 mln euros in 2006 to reach 249.8 mln euros.

The INTER RAO UES Group's net profit for 2006 amounted to 76.6 mln euros, exceeding the previous period's figure by 3.0 mln.

* The INTER RAO UES Group's IFRS-based consolidated financial statements for 2005 used the data of preliminary estimates of a number of businesses that joined the Group in 2005.

When producing the 2006 financial statements, the INTER RAO UES Group complied with the IFRS requirements and arranged for an independent appraisal of the businesses to be performed, which led to adjustments in the financial indicators for the previous period.
