Within the limits of the market of adjustable contracts (ac) it was concluded more than 200 adjustable contracts with 37 counterparts. Sale on AC taking into account capacity payment made 10,9 billion ?vh for the sum of 11,4 billion rbl.

For execution of obligations of the company on AC ?GC-9 carried out transactions on sale and electric power purchase in the market «for days forward». From September, 2006 till August, 2007 sales volumes made 3,2 billion ?vh, purchases - 1,7 billion kvh.

?GC-9 prepared for work in new conditions. It allowed to develop gradually behaviour strategy on NWMP, to estimate strong and weaknesses of the company and to solve the primary goal - receptions of profit on activity in the wholesale market of the electric power and capacity.

For the most effective functioning of TGC-9 in the wholesale market the company in due time and accurately fulfils requirements and regulations NCEI «Manager of trading system», the System operator, qualitatively plans work and optimises loadings of stations - to provide more favourable sale of the electric power in the market «for days forward».

Besides, for successful work on NWMP in ?GC-9 the special software which allows to process effectively statistical and accounting data on sale and electric power purchase on MDF and the balancing market is developed and introduced, and also to conduct current and long-term planning.

The new model wholesale and the retail markets of the electric power/capacity was started since the 1st of September, 2006 according to the governmental orders of the Russian Federation "About perfection of an order of functioning of the wholesale market of electric energy/capacity" and "About Rules of functioning of the retail markets of electric energy".

In the new wholesale market of the electric power (capacity) operating before the relation on purchase and sale of electric energy and capacity in adjustable sector of the market are replaced by system of adjustable bilateral contracts. And free prices in the market "for days forward" were established as a result of competitive selection by noncommercial partnership "the Manager of trading system" (automatic telephone exchange) of price demands of suppliers and buyers on full standard items and electric power purchases.

According to the governmental order of the Russian Federation dtd the 7-th of April, 2007, twice a year - from the 1-st of January, and from the 1-st od July, - the stage-by-stage increase in a share of the electric power realised on the noncontrollable state to the prices is provided. Definitive liberalisation of the wholesale market of the electric power is planned for 2011 Now clients of power selling companies pay for market prices to 10 % of contractual volume of consumption.

Dynamics of the prices "for days forward" reflects dynamics of a supply and demand of the electric power in the market and depends on real processes, which happen in electric power industry, namely: seasonal prevalence factors, water content of rivers, to repair campaigns, changes of the prices and restrictions on delivery of fuel, etc.

So, the average price in the first price zone where regions of activity ?GC-9 - the Perm area and Sverdlovsk area included, during the period appeared from the 1-st of September, till the 31-st of August, 2007 at level 511,4 rub/Mvt/h at the average tariff for 2006-2007 - 333,66 rbl./mvth.
