Actual trends of Safety Management activity of Chuvashenergo in 2012 was work on identification and suppression of threats of economic safety: anti-terrorist security of objects of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC - illegal (free-lance and non-accounting) electricity consumption, thefts and plunders from power objects, decrease in receivables. Thefts from electric power objects constitute special danger as equipment damage, plunder of wires create real threat of reliability of power supply both industrial consumers, and population. 6 criminal cases was brought on the facts of thefts on power objects of the enterprise for 2012 according to statements of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. Safety management of Chuvashenergo together with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across the Chuvash Republic periodically carries out checks of points of reception of scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. More often air electric power transmission-lines and transformer substations suffer from hands of criminals in rural areas of the republic. So, since the beginning of 2012 on the objects of Chuvashenergo 4 cases of theft of wire, and in one case – discompletion of transformer substation and equipment theft are recorded. Malefactors doesn't frighten by the fact that, going on "business", they easily can say good-bye to life, after all some of the plundered power objects at the time of commission of crime were energized. In total for 2012 the damage from actions of the malefactors, caused to branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC - "Chuvashenergo", taking into account the cost of recovery work made about 518 thousand rubles. As the staff of Safety Management of "Chuvashenergo", a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC notes, in 2012 along with thefts of inventory items not so isolated cases of plunder of the electric power are recorded. For increase of efficiency of work with unfair consumers Safety Management adjusted interaction with district police officers of the regional Department of Internal Affairs: for identification of the new centers of unfair illegal electricity consumption in settlements of Chuvashia regularly pass checks, with inhabitants preventive discussions are led. As a result of collaboration in 2012 1088 statements of non-accounting and free-lance electricity consumption on 3,923 million kWh are drawn up. It should be noted that unauthorized electricity consumption leads to deterioration of parameters of quality of the electric power. It is connected with that the overload of the line reduces in it feeding tension to inadmissible level, and operation of electronics and household appliances with low level of tension can put out of action. According to Art. 7.19 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences for unauthorized (non-accounting) use of electric energy 19 people are attracted to administrative responsibility.
