The main repairs of power grid equipment at the facilities of the Chuvashenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC, are coming to the end. The Branch repaired 156 km of 0.4–10 kV overhead lines and 440 km of 35–110 kV overhead lines. About a thousand power transmission supports, about 110 km of electrical wires, about 8.5 thousand insulators have been replaced. In addition, the energy sector repaired 499 transformer substations of 6–10/0.4 kV, overhauled 43 substations of 110/35/6–10 kV. Also, work has been done to replace metal traverses, ground wire, straighten and paint supports, etc. During the repairs, the most modern equipment is used – from surge arresters, which provide more reliable protection at substations, to self-supporting insulated wires on power lines.

Among the largest facilities for major and current repairs are 110/6 kV Tingovatovo, 110/35/10 kV Alikovo, 110/10 kV Kozhevennaya substations, 110 kV overhead power lines Novocheboksarskaya TPP-3-Katrasi (section Katrasi Novaya) and 110 kV Agregatnaya-1.2.

In the course of the current repair campaign, the routes of power transmission lines were cleared from trees and shrubs on an area of 517 hectares. For this purpose, in each operating department of the Chuvashenergo Branch, modern shredding and bulldozers were used that make it possible to work on impenetrable swampy areas.

Execution of work within the framework of the planned repair campaign is one of the most important stages of preparation for the autumn-winter period.
