Today within the XIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee met with Rovnag Abdullayev, President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.

During the meeting it was noted that the parties regarded the cooperation between the companies in long-term supplies of Azerbaijani gas as promising.

“In addition to the historical ties between our countries we have always been connected via a single gas transmission system. We have all we need to start purchasing Azerbaijani gas in the nearest future. Our cooperation creates good conditions for further successful development of interaction in the energy sector,” said Alexey Miller.
