Last month, AO MOSENERGO generated 5,175.9 mln kWt of electricity. This is 11.3% more than in May 2002.

At the same time, AO MOSENERGO purchased 56% less electricity at the wholesale electricity market – FOREM. Last month, AO MOSENERGO bought 206.7 mln kWt.

In May, AO MOSENERGO supplied 2,683,000 GCal of heat. Compared to last year AO MOSENERGO's heat deliveries increased 14.6%.

Higher electricity and heat generation in 2003 was caused by technical requirements of RAO UES. In accordance with directions from the Central Dispatch Office, a number of regional power systems relieved the load at their power stations. The resulting deficit is covered by higher power generation at other AO-energos.
