According to current media reports, AO MOSENERGO allegedly delayed the resumption of hot water supply to residents of the Khimki district after the end of summer maintenance. The reports imply that AO MOSENERGO did not turn on hot water due to the high unpaid debts of the local heating company to AO MOSENERGO.
AO MOSENERGO states that this information is not true.
AO MOSENERGO shut down the hot water supply to Khimki consumers in the second half of May due to scheduled maintenance of heating lines. At that time, Khimkinskiye Heating Grids owed AO MOSENERGO more than 50 mln rubles for heat that had been consumed last winter. By early June, AO MOSENERGO received 15 mln rubles after active negotiations with this municipal company. The remaining part of the debt was restructured. Meanwhile, hot water supply has been resumed strictly on schedule – on June 11.
