Yury Spektor was elected as Director General of Gazprom Promgaz.

Yury Spektor was born in 1960 in Ufa. He graduated from Ufa Oil Institute, majoring in Construction of Gas and Oil Pipelines, Gas and Oil Storages. Yury Spektor is a Doctor of Engineering, Professor.

Between 1981 and 2001 he was engaged in teaching and scientific research in Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.

Between 2001 and 2005 – Director General of Giprotruboprovod.

Between 2005 and 2009 Yury Spektor worked with VNIIST and was in various positions from the Vice President of R&D and Design Methodology to the Senior Vice President.

Between 2009 and 2011 – Director General of Intex.

Between 2011 and 2012 – First Deputy Director General of Transengineering.

Between 2012 and 2013 – Advisor to Director General of Gazprom VNIIGAZ.

Alexander Karasevich, former Head of Gazprom Promgaz was relieved of his post due to retirement.
