The Forum is annually held under patronage of the President of the Russian Federation. Heads of states and governments, heads of parliaments, leaders of international organizations, representatives of economic and political elite of different states of the world regularly take active part in it. It is righteously considered to be the main economic summit of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
