Rostelecom, Russia's national long-distance telecommunications operator, is taking part in the world’s largest ICT tradeshow CeBIT 2006 (March 9-15, 2006; Hannover).

As the world’s leading event for Information Technology, Telecommunications, Software and Services, CeBIT functions as a mirror on the market on both the supply and demand side. So, at this year fair Rostelecom’s booth is featuring growth opportunities in the field of international cooperation as well as ever increasing market demands.

The tradeshow attendees were presented with collaborative opportunities in implementation of Europe-Asia transit (TEA) project, offered by Rostelecom. The Company’s countrywide network gives  international operators the shortest and most reliable land transcontinental route with secure back-up system and minimal Round Trip Delay (RTD).

At the fair, Rostelecom’s representatives are also having a number of meetings with international partners from all over the world.

Besides Rostelecom, among Russian companies participating in CeBIT 2006 there are telecommunications operators, equipment manufactures and software suppliers.
