Moscow. 10 November 2005. Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais has been named a "Russian Business Leader" Prize Winner in the special category "For Meritorious Service in the Development of Business in Russia".
The Russian Business Leaders Prize was established by the Russian Managers Association in 2005. The Prize is awarded to the best representatives of our country's business community that have a spotless business reputation.
The Prize winners are selected by an Academy created for the purpose, which is comprised of leaders of professional reputation ratings annually awarded by the Managers Association, as well as outstanding representatives of the Russian business and academic elite. The Prize winners are selected by secret ballot cast by the Academy members. The votes are counted by an independent audit firm.
The grand reception "Russian Business Leaders" to honour Russia's top managers was held yesterday in the Moscow International House of Music.
* Russian Managers Association (RMA) was established in 1999 as an independent non-government organization working in the best interests of the Russian executive managers’ community. The Association comprises top executives of over 600 companies representing 48 regions of Russia.
