Telecom services rendered to the public and national economy totaled RUR 707,917,400, which represents a 128.6% increase year on year. All in all, public telecom services generated RUR 397,135,000 (up 141.6%), budget-dependent organizations RUR 83,905,500 (up 116.5%), business organizations RUR 226,976,900 (up 114.7%). The company's net profits stood at RUR 123,757,000.
Tomsktelecom's expenses for the reporting period in question rose by 26.5% and reached RUR 527,695,000.
Over the first nine months of 2002 capital investments from all sources of financing stood at RUR 145,845,500 which represents an increase of 122.3% over the same period last year. Fixed assets commissioned stood at RUR 88,872,300.
Tax payments during the reporting period totaled RUR 244,956,000, which constitutes 33.9% of revenue.
In accordance with a resolution passed by the shareholders meeting, the company's business activity will be merged with OJSC Sibirtelecom as of December 1, 2002. Thereafter, Tomsktelecom will continue its status as the Tomsk branch of the Siberian mega-regional telecom concern.
