Today, the governor of the Saratov region, Valery Radaev, and the Head of Saratov, Mikhail Isaev, familiarized themselves with the work of the recently reconstructed 110 kV Rakhovskaya substation (one of the most important power facilities of the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group)) - Saratov Distribution Grids in the power supply system of the regional center. Rakhovskaya 110 kV substation was commissioned in 1977. It provides power supply to Kirovsky district of Saratov, 186 transformer substations of 6 kV, 35 boilers, 17 water supply facilities, 20 schools, 14 kindergartens, 8 hospitals, industrial enterprises and more than 50 thousand household consumers.

 The substation capacity for connection of new consumers in recent years has been almost exhausted, its expansion and replacement of equipment was required.

Reconstruction was carried out in three stages, and without disconnecting consumers - power engineers used a modular mobile substation during the work period. During the reconstruction, new power transformers were installed at the 110 kV Rakhovskaya substation, the latest digital equipment was installed with the possibility of telecontrol, data transmission and monitored parameters at the control room. Now normal operation of the substation does not require the constant presence of personnel.

The General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, Vladimir Ryabikin, demonstrated to the Governor new high-tech equipment, mainly domestic, smart metering devices, remote data transmission systems.

- Reconstruction of the Rakhovskaya substation is a step forward in the implementation of the digital transformation concept of the integrated power grid developed by ROSSETI PJSC,- Vladimir Ryabikin noted. - In the coming years, we have a large-scale work in this direction - the creation of the first fully digital substation, the first digital district of power grids, the completion of the formation of an intelligent electricity metering system, the transition to new principles of transmission management.

All this will ultimately ensure the growth of the reliability of power supply to consumers and the development of new customer services.

Valery Radaev noted the high quality of the reconstruction of the Rahovskaya 110 kV substation, which affected not only the technical equipment, but also the appearance of the power facility, as well as its safety and energy efficiency. - I am sure that the substation will not only ensure reliable and uninterrupted supply of consumers, but will also become a kind of foundation for the further development of digital technologies in the field of electric power industry in Saratov,- Valery Radaev said.
