OJSC North-West Telecom took part in the Russian national exhibition “The 300th Anniversary of Saint-Petersburg: Russia Open to the World,” which was held in London on November 11-14, 2002.

Participation in the exhibition gave North-West Telecom the opportunity to present its technical and economic potential to the British business community.

Visitors to the North-West Telecom’s exposition could see on-line video broadcasting of Saint-Petersburg historic and cultural sights and the interiors of the Hermitage in Saint‑Petersburg. Video camera, installed in the Hermitage, was controlled from an RC panel, located on North-West Telecom’s stand at the exhibition.

Exposition of advanced telecommunications solutions by North-West Telecom was highly appreciated by the Russian government delegation headed by the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology and the Head of the exhibition organizing committee, Igor Klebanov, by the official delegation from Saint-Petersburg headed by its Governor Vladimir Yakovlev and many other exhibition visitors and participants.
