Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) performed 2,153 technological connections to the Company's electric grids, with total capacity of 74.92 MW. As a result of the work done, 348 legal entities and 1,805 individuals were supplied with electric power. To provide the technological connections, 61.827 km of 6–10/0.4 kV distribution grids (DG) were built; 0.797 km of 6–10/0.4 kV DG were reconstructed, a series of 6–10/0.4 kV transformer substations were mounted with total capacity of 1,060 MVA, and 1,060 MVA of transformer capacity was put into service.
The largest applicants of Penzaenergo connected to the grids are as follows: 110/10 kV substation in the village of Sazanie of the Serdobsky district (21.25 MW), a storage of food and non-food products in the village of Salovka, the Penza region (2.9 MW), the agricultural complex (fattening and breeding grounds) in the villages of Ust-Karemsha, Pryanzerki, the Nizhnelomovsky district (2.84 MW), drying station in Kamenka (2 MW), feed-milling plant with the capacity of 30 t/h in Nizhny Lomov (1.6 MW), transformer substation TP-240 for the power supply to non-residential building of industrial purposes in the city of Penza (1.1 MW), and others.
Within just ten months of 2016, Penzaenergo branch received from consumers 2,014 applications for technological connection to the power grids. The contracted capacity made 78 MW. During the same period, 1,822 contracts were signed for technological connection with total contracted capacity of 40.2 MW.
