May 20, 2004, Moscow. – Today Aeroflot-Russian Airlines Company started regular flights to Tyumen. Daily regular flight SU-827/828 Moscow – Tyumen - Moscow is to be made by modernized TU-154Ì with improved business-class apartment. Flight schedule provides convenient change of planes of international and federal Aeroflot routes from Moscow to southern regions of Russia, to Europe and North America.

Aeroflot makes flights to 29 regional centers of Russia from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. In May it started three new flights to the largest cities of Siberia. “New flights to Kemerovo, Barnaul and Tyumen meet our company’s strategy which priority is to develop home flights, – Aeroflot Director General Valery Okulov says. – We have come to Siberian region for a good long time. I’m sure that Siberian people will find out soon that our company’s flights are convenient, safe and efficient.”
On the whole the national air carrier’s strategy is to provide more than 20 per cent increase of passengers on federal routes till 2010.
