Khanty-Mansiysk – On Tuesday, a tender commission of UTair airlines determined bidders for the company’s second round of an open tender for the supply of five regional aircraft.
Canadian-based Bombardier (DASH-8), French-based ATR (ATR-42), Irish-based leasing company Magellan (ATR-42) and the Kharkov aircraft manufacturing enterprise (?n-140) will participate in the second round.
By the end of this week, the tender commission will send financial data requests regarding aircraft prices to the participants of the tender. Envelopes with financial proposals will be unsealed on January 30.
The airline company announced the tender for the supply of five regional aircraft (35-60 seats each) on October 25 this year.
UTair is the world’s largest helicopter operator and one of the largest passenger carriers in Russia.
It operates a total of 301 aircraft, including 184 helicopters.
