ALROSA’s Supervisory Council will meet in Moscow on April 8, 2003.

The Council is expected to set the date of the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, approve of new nominations to stand for election to the Supervisory Council at the next Shareholders’ Meeting and new appointees to the ALROSA Board of Directors, and also discuss the revised budget of the company for 2003.

On the agenda there is also the establishment of a new branch of ALROSA, Centre for Diamond Market Research.

The Council will be briefed on the results of ALROSA’s comprehensive Quality Campaign for the reviewed period, as well as future plans for its implementation until 2005.
