Preparation of energy equipment for reliable work under the conditions of winter loads is carried out according to approved schedules.

JSC “TGC-9” is implementing in all its production branches a large repair program that is aimed at preparation of equipment of generating stations and heat networks for the winter period of the years 2008 – 2009. Last year (2007) plans of TGC-9 repair campaign were fulfilled by 100% that allowed the company to provide reliable and regular energy supply of consumers during the autumn-winter period. TGC-9 will give more than 2,5 billion RUR for carrying out of repair works in 2008: carrying out of major and mid-life repairs of 52 energy sets, execution of all necessary operational works on preparation of heat networks.

On June 1, 2008 TGC-9 has already given more than 255 million RUR for realization of summer repair campaign in Perm Region. Five boilers with capacity of 1095 t/h a pair are ready for reliable work in the next autumn-winter period – major repairs on this equipment have been finished successfully. Mid-life and current repairs of TGC-9 energy equipment in Perm Region are carried out according to the approved plans.

TGC-9 heat networks in Perm Region are also being prepared for work in autumn-winter period together with the equipment of generating stations. Today the reinstallation of pipes of heat networks in Perm is carried out in 5 places, in Berezniki – in 2 places. Since the middle of May, after the end of the heating season the company has begun a repair campaign in municipal heat networks in the town of Gubakha that are rented by JSC “TGC-9”. In the capital of Perm Region 524 meters of heat networks in a single-pipe system have already been run.

In 2008 the size of TGC-9 repair fund in Perm Region exceeds 1 billion RUR, it exceeds the sum given by the company for energy equipment repair in the region in the year 2007 by 6%.

In the year 2008 the production branches of TGC-9 in Perm Region in the process of summer repair campaign plan to carry out major repairs of 9 boilers with the capacity of 2275 t/h a pair, 4 turbosets with total power of 159 megawatt, to replace more than 9 km of heat networks in a single-pipe system and also to carry out mid-life repairs of 8 boilers with total capacity of 1660 t/h a pair.

Some of the largest plans of preparation for work in autumn-winter period among TGC-9 branches in Perm Region are implemented in “Perm HPP-9” branch. In the year 2008 the repair fund of the branch is 322,7 million RUR that is 15 million RUR more than in the year 2007. Among the biggest planned works in “Perm HPP-9” branch are major repairs of steam boilers of HPP-6, HPP-9 and a hot-water boiler house.

Big works are planned in “Berezniki HPP-2” branch as well. There at three 9 generating stations of TGC-9, located in the north capital of Perm Region, HPP-2, HPP-4 and HPP-10, the company will carry out major, current and mid-life repairs of 12 turbosets, 15 boiler sets, 4 hot water boilers and two boiler installations of the city.

Among the largest objects of Perm heat networks that are planned for reconstruction there is replacement of the heat-main section 530 meters long and 1000 mm in diameter in HPP-9 area. It will allow to increase heating reliability of consumers from Industrialny and Dzerzhinsky districts of Perm. In summer they will also start the last reconstruction stage of the heat-main inGazety Zvezda street, the diameter of which will increase from 500 to 700 mm. This main is one of the principal mains in Perm, it connects Perm HPP-6 with the city centre.
