SPiK CJSC General Manager appointed

Sergey Vladimirovich Scherbakov was appointed General Manager of SPiK CJSC, a subsidiary of North-West Telecom OJSC, as from February 01, 2007. Previously, Mr. Scherbakov served as  Head of the Telecommunications Department, St. Petersburg Division of NWT OJSC.

Sergey Vladimirovich Scherbakov was born on July 21, 1965 in Leningrad. In 1987, he graduated from Leningrad Bonch-Bruevich Electric Communication Institute with a degree in Multichannel Telecommunication.

Mr. Scherbakov has been in the communication industry since June 1994. He started his career with Petersburg Telephone Network OJSC as senior engineer. In January 2001 he took the office of Associate Chief Engineer / Centralized Operation Department Manager, Nekrasovsky Telephone Central of the Petersburg Telephone Network subsidiary of NWT OJSC. In May 2002 he was promoted to Chief Engineer of the Nekrasovsky Telephone Central. In February 2005 he was appointed Associate Technical Director / Operation Control Department Manager, Operation & Development Service of the PTN subsidiary of NWT OJSC, and in September 2005, Head of the Telecommunications Department, St. Petersburg Division of NWT OJSC.

Mr. Scherbakov has supervised several projects including the information and engineering support to the 057 Service, centralization of user access equipment control, development of a multiservice network etc., and an effort package to develop and implement the “Communication Network Operating Support System” and to implement the “Telecommunication Services for St. Petersburg Residents Program for 2005-2007.”

The North-West Telecom Management believe that the experience gained by Mr. Scherbakov over the years with the Company, and his professional and personal qualities will help further development of CJSC SPiK.

 

CJSC SPiK Profile:

CJSC SPiK runs the region’s largest full-service outsourcing Call Center, and is a largest system integrator and supplier of software and hardware solutions to set up Call Management Centers. By the results of 2005, the company’s return was RUR 113,615,000, and its net profit, RUR 11,315,000.
