Andrei I. Kazmin, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Sberbank, was appointed to the General Board, the supreme body of the European Savings Banks Group (ESBG) for another three years. ESBG, an international organization founded in 1963, unites 26 members representing savings and retail banks and their associations from EU countries and candidates to the EU. Russia has observer status in ESBG. The appointment of Sberbank's CEO to the supreme body of this authoritative international organization demonstrates the high assessment of Sberbank by the international banking community.
