The overarching objective of IDGC of Volga, PJSC is to ensure effective management and sustainable consumption of power resources. The main objective of the international standard ISO 50001:2011 is to establish management and production processes aiming at optimizing the use of the Company's energy resources in the course of its core activities. The main objective of the Energy Management System of IDGC of Volga, PJSC is to control consumption of power resources in its normal course of business and to increase energy efficiency. Certification Association Russian Register, a Russian independent certification body, assessed and analyzed the Energy Management System of the Executive Body and all branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC for compliance with the international standard ISO 50001:2011. Assessed criteria included commitment of the top management and employees of the company to the principles of regular and systematic management, efficiency of the Energy Management System and its ability to achieve the stated objectives. According to the certification audit results, the Energy Management System of the Executive Body of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and its branches – Saratov Distribution Grids, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, Samara Distribution Grids, Mordovenergo, Chuvashenergo, Penzaenergo, and Orenburgenergo proved to be compliant with the international standard ISO 50001:2011 and GOST R ISO 50001-2012, its national substitute. As a proof of conformance, Certificate No. 14.1411.026 dated December 23, 2015 was issued.
