About 90% of appication for technological connection to Orenburgenergo grids received through the Internet

The Orenburgenergo branch of Rosseti Volga (a brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) received 759 applications for connection to electric grids for 4 months. Technological connection management specialists note that 87% of applications were executed remotely – via the Internet. Since March 30, 2020, the company's client services have been working only remotely, but the total number of applications has not decreased.

“Applications are received, including from remote villages and towns. If earlier the applicant would have needed to get to the nearest PDZ where our customer service is located, now he can fill out an application without leaving his home and provide all the required documents online”, said Viktor Zilberstein, Deputy Director for Sales and Development of Services of the Orenburgenergo branch.

An illustrative example of the operation of a remote service is the connection of an object in the village of Staroverovo-Vasilyevka in the Northern Municipal Formation of the Orenburg region. The applicant – an individual – filed an application for connecting non-residential premises without leaving the village. Earlier, he would have had to get 70 km to the nearest consumer service center. Using the online service – a personal account on the Rosseti Volga website, the consumer saved time and, most importantly, did not violate the rules of self-isolation in the fight against infectious diseases. Having received the application, the power engineers promptly prepared the documentation, developed the project and started its practical implementation. Now the construction and installation works are almost completed and in the near future the electricity will be transferred to the applicant.

An application for technological connection can be made remotely through a personal account on the Rosseti Volga company website (https://www.mrsk-volgi.ru). There you can also monitor its progress online and conclude an agreement with a regional energy sales company without visits to its office. All documents are signed by electronic signature. You can also apply for technical connection on the Unified Portal of Electric Grid Services (https://ïîðòàë-òï.ðô) or using the Rosseti – Personal Account mobile application.
