On February 12, 2019, the international rating Agency Moody’s Investors Service raised the long-term credit rating of PJSC ROSSETI to "Baa3" — the bottom rung of investment grade on an international scale, with a "stable" outlook. This decision followed the similar rating action on the sovereign rating of the Russian Federation, carried out on February 8, 2019.
“We assess positively the decision of Moody’s rating agency regarding the credit rating of PJSC ROSSETI. This decision reflects truely the strategic significance of the company and underlines its position as one of the key Russian infrastructure companies. "I am sure that the availability of two investment grade ratings issued by international rating agencies will further enhance the attractiveness of PJSC ROSSETI’s securities for the investment community, including international investors,” said Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of the company, commenting on the decision of the Moody’s rating agency.
With the decision of Moody’s Investors Service, two international rating agencies have assigned investment grade credit ratings to PJSC ROSSETI, namely S&P Global Ratings and Moody’s Investors Service (“BBB-” and “Baa3”, respectively). In addition, the Russian rating agency ACRA assigned the company a rating of “AAA (RU)” - the highest credit rating on the national scale.
