A 3rd degree certificate in nomination “Ecological Science & Technologies” marked the Company’s successful implementation of the 2004-2008 Environmental Management Program.
The “EcoWorld” prize is a social reward for the outstanding achievements in environmental protection and environmental safety, as well as in any other environmental activity aimed at sustainable development of Russia in XXI century.
The contest numbered about 150 projects from 47 regions of Russia and Ukraine, including 20 – from industrial enterprises; 28 nominees became winners.
The contest was arranged for the third time by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Interregional Non-Government Organization “Charitable Initiatives Fund”. It was conducted under the aegis of the RF State Duma. “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC took part in the contest for the first time.
An awarding ceremony on May 23 was attended by A. Chilingarov – the RF State Duma Committee Chairman, M. Zalikhanov – Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the RF Superior Environmental Board, President of the “EcoWorld” Prize Institutors Board.
