The budget allocated to implement the annual repair program of Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), amounts to 220 million rubles. On-time repair works and technical maintenance of the power facilities will help ensure reliable power supply for customers in the Samara region and to prepare the branch for operations during the autumn-winter season 2016-2017. Repair works at all facilities covered by the repair program will include removal of any detected defects and replacement of all worn-out parts. For example, the scope of the repair program in 2016 includes repair of 57 substations (35-110 kV), including 435 disconnect switches of all voltage classes, 431 transformers, 287 isolating switches, and 712 cylindrical post insulators. The program also provides the repair of about 1,500 km of 35-110 kV overhead transmission lines and over 2,300 km of 0.4-10 kV lines, replacement of 22,700 insulators and over 1,500 poles, and repair of 685 transformer substations. Besides, vegetation management works along and under overhead lines will be conducted in an area of 1,000 ha. All scheduled repair works will be completed by the end of September. “Reliability of power supply for customers – residents of the entire region – depends on whether the repair operations will be carried out to the high standards of quality,” comments Konstantin Sanaev, Deputy Director General of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, and Director of Samara Distribution Grids. ”Our company is focused on implementing all targeted operational plans. In spite of the current economic situation, the scope of financing of the repair program will remain the same as last year.
