With this opening, Lenta expands its network in the Volga Region to 27 hypermarkets in 18 cities
St-Petersburg, Russia; 12 February, 2016– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its third hypermarket in Ufa. The new store is a Lenta supercompact format hypermarket located in ‘Leto’ shopping mall at 156 Parkhomenko str., Ufa. The store has a total area of 5,423 sq.m, with 2,531 sq.m of selling space and is open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 12,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Ufa and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store is equipped with 17 cash registers. The shopping mall has 990 parking spaces. The property is leased by Lenta. The opening in Ufa is Lenta’s second hypermarket opening in 2016 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 142 hypermarkets in 70 cities across Russia and 32 supermarkets in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
