The President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIE) of the Chelyabinsk Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), Victor Rashnikov, will hold a meeting of the Board of UIE on Friday. The discussion will focus on the national project Ecology and the diversification of production of military-industrial complex.

The meeting of the Board of the Regional Public Organisation and Employer's Association will be held at the ski resort Abzakovo. The participants will include executives and government officials from the Chelyabinsk Region, representatives of the Military-Industrial Commission of Russia, the Vice President of the RSPP, members of the regional-level government economic department, state deputies from the Duma and the legislative assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region, senators of the Russian Federal Council, the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneur's Rights of the Chelyabinsk Region, heads of municipalities, and representatives of business associations in the region.

The key elements of the Comprehensive Action Plan are MMK's projects developed as part of their strategic "Clean City" initiative. Their introduction should reduce pollutant emissions into the air by more than 18,000 tonnes.
