In 2015, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), entered into 1,178 technological connection agreements for the total maximum power of 51,160 kW. Employees of the branch connected 1,128 new customers. Mostly, these connected facilities are residential buildings, including those in a newly developed suburban locality and the most remote settlements. Major construction projects include a residential urban district in Lugovoe settlement and a residential estate in ul. Vareykisa in Ulyanovsk.
Customers connected to electrical networks of IDGC of Volga, PJSC in 2015 include social infrastructure facilities and amenities, agro-industrial facilities (such as production plants, dairy and livestock-rearing farms in various districts of the region), and small and medium-scale business facilities. Major electricity customers of IDGC of Volga, PJSC include a composite material production facility in Staraya Maina settlement, the Bati Sherna warehouse and logistics center, a vegetable oils production facility in the Novomalyklinskiy district. Besides, the following customers were connected in 2015: kindergartens in Stantsiya Yakushka, Tatarskiy Sayman, Yasashnaya Tashla and Novy Uren settlements, a boiler house for a kindergarten in Beketovka settlement, and a medical and obstetrical station in Yasahnoye Pomryaskino.
