On July 12, 2003 the IX International Exhibition of juvenile scientific and technical projects "EXPO-2003" was inaugurated with the support of Moscow Government and the International Movement for Leisure in Science and Technology (MILSET). This exhibition will take place from the 12^th to the 19^th of July, 2003 at the RussianExhibitionCenter.

The purpose of this exhibition is to demonstrate scientific and technological projects and discoveries made by children and young scientists in the area of natural, engineering, social, humanitarian and economic sciences; to exchange the experience in organization of scientific and technological creation in various countries. The exhibition also organizes meetings with scientists, round table talks, master classes, shows, visits to enterprises and scientific centers.

New technological solutions and innovative projects are widely demonstrated with the use of modern communication services provided by Central Telegraph and Sedicom.

JSC Central Telegraph is one of the largest telecommunication companies in the Moscow region. It provides the Russian Exhibition Center and the exhibitors with digital telephone services (local, national, international) on the basis of its own fiber-optic Centel network and provides the access to the Internet via high-speed channels (up to 2 Mbps).

It demonstrates its new system - BreezeAccess GO - designed for the organization of mobile access to the Internet at so called "Hot Spots", i.e. at the location with high level of concentration of business people: business centers, railway stations, airports, hotels, exhibitions, etc.

BreezeACCESS GO includes two components - Public Access Controller (PAC) and Hotspot Provisioning & Operations Support System (OSS). Public Access Controller is a small and highly integrated access device providing a complete "all in one" solution meeting all needs at Hotspot location.  Контроллер общественного доступа - высокоинтегрированное, небольшого размера устройство доступа, обеспечивающее комплексное, "все в одном" решение, которое выполняет все потребности в месте расположения Hotspot. Hotspot Provisioning & OSS system is installed at operator's node and is responsible for the management of the whole network infrastructure covering a number of Hotspots. It has capabilities of a server for various applications for identification, authorization, accounting, billing, roaming and prepaid cards. That is why BreezeACCESS GO allows an operator to deploy scalable, polyfunctional and reliable system of wireless access for a large number of Hotspots. This system also allows the users of notebooks and other portable devices with wireless access cards supporting 802.11a and 802.11b standards to get comfortable access to the Internet and to other IP services at public locations.

All visitors who came at the exhibition at the first day could see that any owner of a notebook with Wi-Fi compatible card received mobile high-quality, high-speed wireless access to the Internet organized by Central Telegraph and Sedicom at any place within Pavilion 57 (20,000 sq.m) Only one access point was used in order to organize this access.

Cooperation between JSCRussianExhibitionCenter, JSC Central Telegraph and ZAO Sedicom will be extended. In the nearest future Central Telegraph plans to provide other pavilions of the RussianExhibitionCenter with telephone communication and Internet services. And ZAO Sedicom will organize wireless access to communication services for the end users (participants of the exhibition).
