A separate process arrangement for nefras (petroleum solvent) production at I-7 facility in the Divinyl & HC Feedstock Plant is put on stream under the auspices of the production development program at OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Earlier this facility was periodically switched over from nefras production to pentane isomerization process and vice versa. Now, personnel of the Plant can run both two lines simultaneously after they engaged idle equipment and rearranged connections on the columns. This, presumably, will allow to boost production and to reduce feedstock consumption indices.
