Moscow. 20 October 2004. The 26th meeting of CIS Electric Power Council (CIS EPC) has re-elected the Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais as President of the Council. The Meeting participants have decided to prolong the powers of Anatoly Chubais for a term of one year.
The meeting of the CIS EPC was attended by the CEOs of electricity companies representing the CIS Member States: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Georgia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, and Ukraine. The CIS EPS of the CIS consists of 12 countries.
