CHSPZ has completed a four day certifying audit of its welding materials by the  Science and Research Institute of Welding and Protective Coatings in Minsk. It's a member of the International Institute of Welding.

The commission analyzed the electrodes and steel welding wire production at CHSPZ. As a result of this audit CHSPZ will be issued a certificate for three years.  Over this time the auditor will conduct audits annually to confirm the certificate. The previous certificate was issued in 1999. It will expire in November 2002. These certificates are important to many Russian and foreign clients. For example, the marketing approval  of the Minsk welding materials certifying organization is required to sell to Belorussian companies.

Welding materials made by CHSPZ are also certified by the Russian Sea Register of Shipping, and meet Russian GOST standards. CHSPZ' electrodes have received the Platinum Quality Emblems of the XXI century, CHSPZ- made welding wire -  the Golden Quality Emblem of the XXI century.

Rope, bare conductors and fittings made by CHSPZ are subject to several required certifications. For example, in July 2002, ropes were certified to GOST P standards and received a permission of GOSTEHNADZOR to be used in lifting and transportation devices  it oversees.

Certificates to some other types of products were issued by Moscow Expertise. They allow sell  to Moscow  and Moscow region.  The certificates of the Register of Certification for the State Rail Road Transportation allow to ship products via rail road. CHSPZ has 36 certificates of various kind.
